Feathers, Flowers and Fur

Goldfinch
I have not posted in a few weeks - lots to do at work and then I got sick, staying home in bed for over a week. Meanwhile in the yard, spring has sprung and a bit early.  The goldfinches are swarming the feeders along with junco, titmouse and chickadees.

Chickadee
I have put a small feeder just outside the door on the deck so I can take some photos from inside through the glass but it takes a while to let the birds get used to me standing there.  Very skittish birds in my yard.

My cat Joey sat inside the window keeping an eye on the birds for me.  All my indoors cats enjoy the activities at the feeder, especially when the chipmunks and squirrels join in.

And finally the daffodils are up and blooming - last year and in years past it was March before I saw this many blooming.  I have many varieties so the flower show goes on for weeks with new ones popping open here and there.  I hope spring is coming soon to you too.

Nice pics, we have a couple feeders that are closely monitored by our indoors cats. When squirrels show up our dogs go nuts.

Looks like Joey wants in on the action! I have a hummingbird feeder right outside my dining room window. I so enjoy watching the hummingbirds during the spring and summer months.

You have flowers blooming, already?! Fantastic! They're calling for a little bit of snow here in southeast Missouri today & tonight, but it probably won't amount to much... then, maybe we can have some blooms, too!
Beautiful kitty cat! =)

Birdies are adorable and cats are lovely too. It's nice to hear spring is somewhere around the corner...it might come a little bit later in Russia but I started feeling excited about it already :)

I recently moved my feeder closer to the window. I love watching the birds. She sits and makes a clucking sound at them.
Can't believe you have daffodils already. We're expecting snow tonight.
Lovely variety of shots!

Lovely shots of the the birds and daffodils. I worry about flowers coming up too early this year but I'm trying to enjoy each one as they bloom knowing they may get killed by drops in temperature the next day.

So many pretty birds and lovely flowers ~ how could any kitty resist sitting and watching all the action. Very fun! No blooms here yet ~ still a little too cold in Saskatchewan! :)
