The rain bands from Tropical Storm Lee were still passing through his week when I headed over to the Arboretum to see what was blooming this month.
I was surprised at all the flowers in bloom from the symmetrical formal garden with oranges, yellows and purples to the wooded paths with various flowers scattered here and there. Even the dried hydrangeas looked lovely!

What a lovely spot! Tempting to spend the entire day and just wander, camera in hand. :-)
Hard to believe another September has rolled around so quickly, though. "Funny" how our perception of time alters as we age.

My camera would sure be busy in that place. Loved the pictures.
Love the design changes to our blog. Weezie tells me it is getting cooler. She now has Home Health people coming in every day and wears one of the alert necklaces around her neck....and she is NOT a happy camper. Health-wise, I had a crummy summer, but an now back at school so do not have to think about it. I have been on and off the computer in spirts....maybe now that I am back at work I will get more organized. Thanks for not forgetting me. I will try to do better in the future. genie

What a lovely place to have near by and to be able to visit easily.
The Chamber of Commerce needs to hire you as their PR photographer. I cannot get over all of the flowers in bloom in September. These are amazing shots. Genie
