Barns, Fields and Stalking Cows...

There are plenty of horses, goats and cows on my street but it is very narrow, twisty and with no safe walking area so I took a drive with my camera to a nearby farm for some pastoral scenes. I could see some cows off int he distance so I pulled over hoping to shoot some!

The cows spotted me when I got out of my car and must have thought I was someone else (with food). They started meandering closer to me until they realized I was not who they thought!

They must have thought you were there to feed them. Nice shots of the cows, the second shot is a pretty scene.

Oh I love the scenery!! Rolling green hills and of course cows - and I love cows! Whenever I go rambling on footpaths that cross fields of cows - they always come up to you in big bunches - they could be quite scary in whole groups coming at you!:-) I always walk very very fast! LOL!

I think they have the most gorgeous eyes and lashes!

Take care

I think I'd be a mite concerned if I saw a group of cows coming for me - and I had nothing to give! Time to get back in the car....

Hi!
Beautiful shots! We have ducks here that do the same thing. Come running when they see someone. Have a great day!

Beautiful scenery. It's nice to discover farmland and barns! That barn looks pretty old; it even has plants growing out of it!

Wow, great pics. :-) What is the animal in the fifth picture. It's kind of hard to see the distinguishing features from black. The tail looks like horse's tail but somehow the overall appearance is almost closer to a donkey.

I love your shots. The cows on our land used to come see me until they figured out I didn't have any food.
