The roads in our mountains follow the river and creek beds - usually the lowest points through the ridges. These were taken the next road over as we headed to the next town.
The covered bridge is privately owned - just a pretty way to preserve the small bridge over the creek to their house.

Lovely post and photos. Stay warm
beautiful shot!
Mine's up.
Lovely photo, very scenic!
We've hardly gotten any snow here in lower Michigan so far this winter. It's normal for there to be more snow north AND south of us, but we've just had so little that it hardly feels like winter. Except for the cold. At least the snow can be pretty. Right now it's just cold AND depressing. Can't wait for Spring.
I like the shadows on the snow. Pretty.
whatever the people here say, I love winter! and since we've got less and less snow, I love it even more. so I enjoyed this one, and I also enjoyed your snowy photos! well done!
winters shadows on snow is so lovely.
Thank you for your visit and comment~
I love the covered bridge picture. We have several covered bridges operating in our province. They have a wonderful charm. One of my blogs on the covered bridges in our province:. I admire your story about the feral cats on your property. We alwys had cats but now we have a son-in-law who is very allergic to them, so dfor now, no more cats. Your winter pictures are lovely.
Beautiful wintry scenes!
Now that is some beautiful countryside!
