Hi;
First time visitor, found you through WW. That first photo is just stunning! I had no idea the Appalachians were the oldest mtns in the world. They are breathtaking, though. I have visited your lovely area many times.

Oh my gosh this is gorgeous! Your previous post about the ice storm and power outage is making me want to get a bigger generator. I don't make a very good camper. But your pictures make it worth all the bother that hte storm must have caused. They are just stunning. So glad you came for WW.
Thank you so much for the lovely words you left at my place. I am so happy to meet you!

I have a lot of family in NC. My mother's family is all from there. I sadly have never met any of them.

Beautiful. Ice is SO hard to photograph. We missed the ice this time ... it was all snow here in Virginia. Stay warm.

That's some thick ice. In Northern Virginia we are buried in snow. We have some thick icicles. Joan @Americana By Candlelight

Your ice photos are beautiful Cheri! Our area has really been walloped by Old Man Winter so far this year hasn't it? Hopefully Spring won't be long coming and will thaw us all out.
Stay safe and warm!
