Our Second Snow this Winter

We got hit with another substantial snow this winter - 12" plus - just a little less than last time. Our area usually gets less than that all season!

We are still waiting for the road to be cleared more - all the focus is on the highways and main roads for now. Our neighbors try to help out by using their tractors and trucks to plow the snow off the roads. Just taking it easy today!

Hi Cheri, Thanks for visiting my blog. I am enjoying yours. You live in a gorgeous area. Where are you exactly in Western NC??? We have friends who have a vacation home in Otto.. We've been all over that area ---searching for waterfalls. We love it there...

We got about half the snow you did --but this one was our FIRST of this winter. I was excited --until all of the ice hit... Oh Well--can't have everything. the sun did come out today --which was NICE.

I'm going to check out more of your blog. Please come back to mine.

Hi Cheri, thanks for stopping by my place, you may have gotten the snow after us, but you certainly got the lion's share !
Love your pictures, a silent wonderland, in my favorite place the Appalachian mountains.
Hope to visit with you often, I'm off to have a little read now ;)

We also got 9" of snow Friday night. It's much better than getting ice. Our road wasn't plowed yesterday either and I haven't yet checked it today. Our ground has been covered with snow for most of the winter. Great photos--I'm not tired of the snow yet.
